IMPORTANCE OF A MORNING ROUTINE

Suppose your morning routine consists of scrolling Instagram ,hitting snooze on your alarm, and grabbing unhealthy snack bars while panicking over your new emails. In that case, you surely need to read this.

So, why is setting a systematic morning routine important? What can it do to your physical and mental health? Morning routines are essential full stop but here’s why…

For Utmost Productivity

Productivity isn’t always about how often you get things done, how much you accomplished during the day, or how seldom you take breaks during working hours.

Sometimes, it’s about the quality level of your outputs, the degree of satisfaction you feel while doing those tasks, and how much you took care of yourself during the process.

Better Emotional and Physical Connection

Feeling great can indeed affect your psychological conditioning and vice versa. For example, you can’t walk around in the office while feeling sick and at the same time putting an optimistic expression on your face.

Likewise, you can’t treasure your “alone time” if you feel unwell with all the physical disturbances you’re dealing with.

So, by waking up early, doing your morning routine, cooking a healthy breakfast, and taking your multivitamins, or whatever your routine looks like, you can become more resilient when faced with daily stressors.

Improved Relationships

The more you resort to instant meals over preparing healthy dishes for your breakfast, the more your physical health deteriorates. What happens when your physical health deteriorates? You will be more vulnerable to environmental stressors as soon as you go out.

Likewise, the more you miss your meditation session, the more you become reactive to the stress your physical senses have perceived. These limitations can influence the way you treat your coworkers, family members, and partner. As a result, you might unnoticeably lash out during minor inconveniences and make poor relationship decisions.

Inner Peace

Stress can indeed result in emotional and physical troubles, both in your relationships and careers. But when you practice consistent meditation and solid morning routines, you will discover the soothing impact of mindfulness and self-awareness.

Practicing mindfulness and self-awareness will help you feel refreshed and less reactive to stress. The less reactive you are to stress, the more peace you will feel with yourself and with the people around you.

Overall, your morning routine can boost your momentum and progress throughout the day when done correctly.
